Xda-Developers | Franco Kernel Manager now supports letting you flash almost any ZIP file from the app
If you've ever cared about flashing a custom kernel on your Android device, then you've probably heard of Franco kernel by XDA Recognized Developer franciscofranco. His custom kernel is one of the most popular projects on the XDA Forums alongside names like ElementalX, blu_spark, and more. The developer behind the kernel made a companion app called FK Kernel Manager for modifying his kernel's parameters, but the app has since grown beyond just supporting his custom kernel. For example, the developer announced a new version of FK Kernel Manager, and the highlight of the releases is its ability to flash "nearly any .zip from the Manual Flasher!"
FK Kernel Manager 3.11 is up and running and oh boy is it a good one.
Obviously not enough chars for the entire changelog, but the best new feature for me is the ability to flash nearly any .zip from the Manual Flasher!

Obviously, the caveat here is that you already need to have root access to use this feature. But, once you have root access, you won't need to reboot to TWRP every time you want to flash a basic mod—just fire up the app and flash it from there. While you can't flash custom ROMs from the app, it'll still be useful for a lot of smaller mods. You can flash Magisk modules, custom fonts, kernels, and other kinds of mods. Franco credits XDA Recognized Developer osm0sis for his help with the 'flashing magic.'
Franco Kernel Manager can be downloaded from the Google Play Store link below. It's not a free app, but it's well worth the purchase if you use Franco Kernel or you want an alternative to Chainfire's FlashFire app.
